Estonia as a tour and holiday destination
The smallest country of the Baltics in Northern Europe, Estonia shines brightly with its cities, immense forests and wetlands.
The capital of Estonia, Tallinn, has a UNESCO world heritage listed Old Town with beautiful medieval buildings still standing, along with the old city walls. Explore the cobbled streets and atmospheric churches, as well as the more recent, darker, history of this small nation in the excellent museums. Enjoy a coffee in the main square of the old town and bask in the sunshine of a short Estonian summer. Head out of the city centre to see the Kadriorg Palace, an imperial Russian summer residence built for Peter the Great in the 1700s, or the Rottermann district which boasts many Art Nouveau buildings.
