New Zealand is known as “God’s Own Country” for a pretty good reason. It has the most extensive and diverse natural beauty: active volcanoes, rolling hills, scenic beaches and exotic creatures that are seen nowhere else, with glowworms being one of them. This species is only available in a cave at Waitomo, North Island, New Zealand. The magical scene of twinkling glow welcomes thousands of visitors each year, revealing the beauty of natural organisms in its most humble way.
New Zealand is a place where you can really marvel at God’s creations. One awe-inspiring place that you should head to is the Te Puia Thermal Reserve. It’s more than just a natural wonder, but also a culturally important landmark in New Zealand. Te Puia possessed the most polished of the local indigenous group – Māori people’s culture and heritage.
Kiwi the flightless bird is another exotic animal that is native to New Zealand. This endangered species is not only the national symbols, but it has also been internationally used as the demonym for New Zealanders. The best place to see Kiwis in their natural habitat is the Rainbow Springs Natural Sanctuary. Besides Kiwi, visitors will also be able to see other endangered animals and get wet in the water rides!
