Though not as developed as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang is still a place worth visiting for its traditional charm and historical significance. Visitors can go to Cam Ha Pottery Village to take a look at how the pottery items are made by locals with skills that are passed down by the older generations. Besides, you can also shop for intricately-made handicrafts as souvenirs!
Then, to further delve into the history of Vietnam, drop by the Imperial City in Hue. Used to be the former capital of Vietnam, the Imperial city is where the Emperor used to rule and reside in. It is a well-built fortress and palace that is often being equated to Beijing’s Forbidden City.
For another look into Vietnam’s historical culture, consider visiting one of the king’s tomb. Nguyen Emperor Khai Dinh’s tomb in particular, showed a fusion of oriental and western elements, where stained glass and dragons are included in the design of his tomb.
Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR – DA NANG – HOI AN (L/D)
Upon arrival Da Nang city, meet & greet by our representative and transfer for lunch at local restaurant, Then start to enjoy sight-seeing of the beauty of East Vietnam Sea before heading to the ancient town of Hoi An. Hoi An is the old sections (charming and wonderfully preserved, combining Chinese, Japanese and European influences). Check in hotel. Explore the Hoi An ancient town such as take a walking tour visiting Chinese Assembly Hall & Temples, Old houses & Japanese Covered Pagoda Bridge, Old house of Tan Ki (Or Phung Hung); Fukian Assembly Hall; Sahuynh Cultural Museum (or Museum of Folk Cultures). Continue exploring Hoi An silk village, seeing how silkworms are taken care of and how their cocoons are transformed into beautiful and elaborate handicrafts. Have dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 2: FULL DAY TOUR (B/L/D)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed for tour of your choice. Choose one below:
A. HOI AN – BA NA HILLS – HUE CITY (MT4D3N1)
After check out, pick you up from hotel and transfer to Ba Na Hills Station which is known as the “Pearl of the climate” of the Central, one of the tourist centre – famous resort – highest level in Indochina colonial times. Have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars which enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. You will visit some old French villas route, as well as the suspension bridge, the Nui Chua with Mountain Peak (at the height of 1,487m). We will then enjoy buffet lunch whilst taking in the spectacular views. After lunch, leisure time for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam, free and easy with series of interesting games. Visit Golden Bridge at Bana Hill. Between a sea of clouds. Standing here watching the scene that has taken photos, the more and more, It looks breaking with the view and those giant stone hands. Then visit VongNguyet hills where the wine cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, Sakyamuni Buddha’s monument situate by the first and unique Funicular in Vietnam from Garaventa Company (Swiss).Leaving Ba Na Hills for Hue. En-route for to the high mountain Hai Van pass, leisure time to visit Lang Co beach; the lagoon far below with Da Nang spread out. Check in hotel and have dinner at local restaurant with famous specialties of Hue. After dinner, get on boat cruising up the Huong River, then enjoy amazing “Hue’s Folk music” professionally performed by Hue artists in traditional beautiful suites of “Aodai”. Overnight in Hue.
B. HOI AN – MY SON – CAM THANH VILLAGE – HUE CITY (MT4D3N2)
After check out, pick you up from hotel and transfer to My Son Holyland – the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. Have lunch with famous specialties in local restaurant. Then visit to Cam Thanh water coconut village tour, you will enjoy experiences from learning traditional fishing techniques and how to row unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat, fishing and catch the crabs, coconut mussel while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war. Leaving Hoi An for Hue Imperial City, through Hai Van tunnel, en route, stop-over for photos at the top of Cloud – Ocean pass, overlooking the scenic Lang Co fishing village. Have dinner in a local restaurant. Check in hotel . Overnight in Hue.
Day 3: HUE IMPERIAL CITY –DA NANG (B/L/D)
After breakfast, checkout from hotel, visit the intact Imperial Citadel – The grand palace of the last dynasty of Nguyen – a vast complex built in the early 19th century under the Nguyen Dynasty which was the last feudal regime in Vietnam during 1802 – 1945. Shopping at Dong Ba market, we take a short time for local market, great fun here. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon, visit the beautiful Pagoda of Thien Mu with its impressive “Heavenly Lady” seven-story tower, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Then leave the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Hue to return to Da Nang city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Free to explore Danang at night.
Day 4: DA NANG – DEPARTURE (B)
Enjoy your breakfast. Check out hotel. Enjoy Viet Nam typical coffee before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
