What To Expect
Tiptoe through the tulips, tread through famous battlegrounds, and sprint to the irresistible bonbons on this aromatic tour. Three nights in Amsterdam, two nights each in Luxembourg and Brussels, plus one night in the medieval town of Bruges is the perfect introduction to the sights and delights of the Benelux countries. Springtime departures include the exploding colour of Holland’s famous bulb fields and the extraordinary Keukenhof Gardens while summer and Autumn departures lead you to the bursting flavours of barley and hops at the Heineken Experience where you’ll hear—and taste—the story of the world-famous beer.-

Day 2: AMSTERDAM
Start your your discovery of Amsterdam with a guided canal cruise past gabled merchant houses, arched drawbridges reminiscent of the Golden age, and the strikingly modern buildings of a young-at-heart city. Next, visit Rijksmuseum with its priceless paintings by Rembrandt and other Dutch masters. Free time this afternoon and evening.

Day 3: AMSTERDAM. EXCURSION TO KEUKENHOF, DELFT & THE HAGUE
Visit Keukenhof, the famous flower park (for departures end March to beginning May). Continue to Royal Delft Pottery factory with its magnificent collection of hand-painted earthenware pieces, and see skilled craftsmen at work. After orientation drive of The Hague with picture stop at the Dutch Parliament and the International Court of Justice, return to Amsterdam and visit the Heineken Experience to learn about the history of beer and the art of brewing. (for departures mid May to end September). NOTES: For departures 30 April to 1 October 2022, visit Floriade 2022 the International Horticulture Expo in stead of visit Royal Delft Pottery factory, orientation drive of The Hague and visit the Heineken Experience.

Day 4: AMSTERDAM – MAASTRICHT – BASTOGNE, BELGIUM – LUXEMBOURG
Enter the Province of Limburg and stop in Maastricht with its famous Vrijthof Square. Cross the border and in Bostogne, visit the War Museum and take pictures of the American Memorial. Arrive in Luxembourg.

Morning sightseeing with your Local Guide cover the city's past and present includes the Cathedral of Our Lady and General Patton's grave.

Day 6: LUXEMBOURG – WATERLOO, BELGIUM – BRUGES
Drive through the Belgian Ardennes to Flanders and to Waterloo. Visit the battle site where Napoleon was defeated. Arrive in Bruges.

This morning, a canal cruise (weather permitting) and Belgian chocolate bonbon tasting will give you a first taste of this delightful town. Next, guided walking tour of the city, including the Church of Our Lady and a traditional lace demonstration. Continue to Brussels with orientation walk includes Grand'Place and a picture stop at Manneken Pis.
