Day 1: ARRIVAL PARO – THIMPU
Druk Air flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular of all mountain flights. Whether flying along the

Himalayan range over the foothills, each flight is a mesmerizing feat and offers exciting descent into
the Kingdom. On arrival at the airport, you will be accorded a very warm reception by our
representative. Then drive to Thimphu the modern capital town of Bhutan. Check-in your hotel in
Thimphu and free until lunch time for some rest from early morning flight, refreshment and lunch. After
lunch, visit Tashichho Dzong – is a Buddhist monastery cum fortress at the northern edge of Thimphu
the capital city of Bhutan.

Day 2: THIMPHU
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit the Changangkha Lhakhang Temple – is an early medieval
: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Buddhist temple in the capital city Thimphu. The temple is situated on a ridge overlooking the city,
near Mohitang on the outskirts of Thimphu. After lunch, visit Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory – is a
small paper factory located in Thimphu that produces paper using traditional Bhutanese methods. The
paper products produced at the factory are made from Daphne or Mulberry plant bark. Continue visit Cheri Monastery 2850m – was first built in 1620 by Shabdrung.

Day 3: THIMPU – PUNAKHA
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Punakha for 2.5 hours. On the way stop at Do Chula Pass 3050m for tea

/ coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Continue visit to Punakha Dzong
– which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, it symbolizing the masculine and the
feminine co-existence their currents are of different colours and they unite at this point. Then visit Chimi
Lakhang – a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as “Divine Mad Monk”. Later evening you will visit local market. Check-
in and dinner at your hotel.

Day 4: PUNAKHA – PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to north of Paro and before that we will visit another place from where
: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
you can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley is from the Buddha point Kuensel Phodrang. It is
again a short drive from the town. You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the
largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. The Paro Dzong is
probably Bhutan's best known and most iconic Dzong. Continue visit Ta Dzong National Museum – is
housed inside the six storied circular Ta Dzong, is a medieval watch tower situated above the Rinpung
Dzong. Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong – which has a long and fascinating history. Later
evening you will visit local market of Paro. Check-in and dinner at your hotel.

Day 5: PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to Takshang Monastery – perched giddily on a rocky ledge, with a

waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Afternoon visit Kychu Temple – is one of the oldest temples in
Bhutan which dates back to the 7th century. Kyichu Temple is one of the last three surviving temples.

Day 6: DEPARTURE PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free until departure transfer to the airport for flight back Kuala Lumpur.
