Bhutan Visa:
~ Visa is required for traveling to Bhutan. In order to process Bhutan visa, we require clear readable scanned color copy of passport (page containing passport no and face picture in JPEG or PDF format) at least 30 days prior to date of entry into Bhutan along with full tour payment.
~ Remaining validity of passport should be at least 6 months from the date of entry into Bhutan (excluding the travelling month). Tourism Council of Bhutan issues visa clearance letter closer to travelling date which we email you or your local travel agent.
~ Travelers are required to produce aforesaid visa clearance copy at the time of check-in for Druk Air / Bhutan Airlines flight while those entering Bhutan by surface via Phuntsholing or Samdrup Jonkhar, they are required to produce this Visa Clearance letter at the Immigration counter.
~ Actual visa is stamped on passport on arrival in Bhutan at the immigration counter.

Day 1: ARRIVAL KATHMANDU – NAGARKOT
Arrive Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, meet & greet. Transfer to Nagarkot Hill Station for 1 hour drive. Arrive Nagarkot – located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Check-in and dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU
Early morning wakes up to view the mountain over the Himalaya. Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and drive back to Kathmandu. Enroute visit Patan Durbar Square – situated in the centre of Patan City, also known as Lalitpur, houses of the residence of the former Patan Royal family. Patan Square and its surroundings are good specimen of ancient Newari architecture. Continue visit, Krishna Temple and Golden Temple. After lunch, visit Pashupatinath Temple – with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. After that visit to Boudhanath Stupa – the biggest Stupa in Nepal, lies about 7 km east of the capital. The Stupa also called by many as Khasti Chaitya, is one of the oldest Stupas in the country. Check-in at your hotel and transfer out for dinner with Nepalese Cultural show at local restaurant. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3: KATHMANDU – PARO – THIMPU
Breakfast at the hotel. On time transfer to the airport for flight to Paro, Bhutan. Arrive Paro, meet and greet by our representative. After lunch continue with drive to Thimpu for 1.5 hours. Check-in at your hotel.

Day 4: THIMPU – WANGDUE – PUNAKHA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit National Memorial Chorten, Takin Mini Zoo, Post Office for stamps and Traditional Paper Factory. Drive to Punakha for 2.5 hours. On the way stop at Do Chula Pass 3050m for tea / coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Drive to Wangdue Phodrang. Visit Chimi Lakhang – a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as “Divine Mad Monk”. Then continue with drive to Punakha and check-in at your hotel.

Day 5: PUNAKHA – PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to Punakha Dzong – which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, it symbolizing the masculine and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colours and they unite at this point. Then drive to Thimphu for a brief stop to hunt for souvenirs. Then continue to Paro for overnight stay.

Day 6: PARO
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to Takshang Monastery – perched giddily on a rocky ledge, with a waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Afternoon visit Kychu Temple – which dates back to the 7th century. Kyichu Temple is one of the last three surviving temples.

Day 7: PARO – KATHMANDU
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight back to Kathmandu. After lunch, proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square – listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City. Continue to Swoyambhunath Stupa – the Buddhist temple situated on the top of a hill, west of Kathmandu is one of the most popular, holy and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. The temple is colloquially known as the Monkey temple because of large tribe of roving monkeys who guard the temple. Then transfer to Thamel Street for last minute shopping. After dinner, transfer back to the hotel.
