When
Day 1:KUALA LUMPUR – KATHMANDU – NAGARKOT
Upon arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport. Meet and greet by our local representative. Transfer to Nagarkot hill station for an hour drive. Arrive Nagarkot and check in at pre booked Hotel in Nagarkot. Enjoy the scenic view of Nagarkot. Enjoy Dinner in the Hotel.
Day 2:NAGARKOT – KATHMANDU
We wake up early morning to view sunrise over the Himalaya. Breakfast in the Hotel. Check out- return Kathmandu. Enroute visit Patan Durbar Square, Krishna temple and Golden temple. Stop for Lunch at good Local Restaurant. Continue with the visit of Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Check in at pre booked Hotel in Kathmandu. Transfer out for dinner with Nepalese Cultural show at Local Restaurant.
Day 3:KATHMANDU – PARO – THIMPU
Breakfast in the Hotel. On time transfer to the airport for flight to Paro, Bhutan. Arrive Paro, meet and greet by our representative and transfer out for Lunch at Local Restaurant. After lunch continue with drive to Thimpu for one and half hour. Check in at your Hotel.
Day 4:THIMPU – WANGDUE – PUNAKHA
Breakfast in the Hotel. Morning tour in Thimpu covers National Memorial Chorten, Takin mini zoo, Post office for stamps and Traditional paper factory. Drive to Punakha for 2 and half hours. On the way stop at Do Chula pass (3050 m) for tea/coffee and enjoy our first view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Drive on to Wangduephodrang. Visit Chimi Lakhang, a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as “Divine Mad Monk”. Then continue with drive to Punakha and check in at Hotel.
Day 5:PUNAKHA – PARO
Morning visit to Punakha Dzong, which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, symbolizing the masculine and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colours and they unite at this point. Then drive to Thimphu for a brief stop to hunt for souvenirs. Then continue on to Paro for overnight stay.
Day 6:PARO
After early breakfast in the Hotel start the excursion to Takshang Monastery perched giddily on a rocky ledge, with a waterfall cascading as if from the blue. Afternoon visit Kychu temple which dates back to the 7th century, Kyichu temple is one of the last three surviving temples.
Day 7:PARO – KATHMANDU
After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight back to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu. Meet and transfer for lunch at Local Restaurant. Afternoon visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa. Transfer to Thamel Street, shopping hub in Kathmandu for last minute shopping. Enjoy the last dinner in Kathmandu at good Local Restaurant.
Day 8:DEPART KATHMANDU (B)
Transfer to the airport for flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
