    "Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. Located in the centre of Beijing, it now houses the Palace Museum. For almost 500 years, it served as the home of emperors, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.

    Lama Temple
The temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism, located in the northeastern part of Beijing, combines the artworks of Han Chinese and Tibetan styles. Building work on the Yonghe Temple started in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty. It originally served as an official residence for court eunuchs and was then converted into the court of the Prince Yong (Yin Zhen), a son of the Kangxi Emperor and himself the future Yongzheng Emperor.

    Hutong
Providing a fascinating view into folk life and tradition, the Hutong District is regarded as the best representative and symbol for Beijing’s life.
