What To Expect
Kunming is the capital and largest city of Yunnan Province in Southwest China. It is the political, economic, communications and cultural centre of Yunnan. Located at an elevation of 1,950 meters on the Yungui Plateau with low latitude and high elevation, Kunming has one of the mildest climates in China.-
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Kunming

Day 2: Kunming - Dali (By Bullet Train)
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, we will take the bullet train to Dali (2nd class seats). Upon arrival, Xizhou Bai Houses will be our first stop, taste the local specialty - a three courses tea. You will find the old houses and streets well preserved, through which visitors may still find traces of past glory. Continue to visit Zhoucheng Village DIY – Tie and Dye. Then explore Dali Ancient Town and Foreigner Street, a vital communications hub when the population was dense. Many trade caravans used to gather here, setting a prosperous marketplace atmosphere. Today, you will find numerous bustling shops, inns, tea houses and restaurants, on both sides of this vibrant street. Overnight at Dali Wen Yue Eastern Hotel or similar

Day 3: Dali-Lijiang (By Bus)
After breakfast at the hotel and check out, we will transfer to Lijiang by bus. Upon arrival visit Nine Colours of Rose Town. Proceed to visit the Black Dragon Pool Park, a famous pool located in the Jade Spring Park within walking distance of the old town. We will then visit Lijiang Ancient Town. As we stroll through the old town, immerse yourself in the small bridges, swift streams, cobbled streets and grey tiled roofs of the local houses. You will also see many local Naxi people wearing traditional costumes and headgears. With four main streets leading back to the open-air market core of old Lijiang, Square Street (Sifangjie) once served as an important hub on the ancient Tea Horse Road. Walk along skillfully laid-out canals with clean water run through them and explore the many side alleys packed with shops and bars. Overnight at Lijiang Holidays Inn No.1 Xianghe Hotel or similar

In the morning, we will take a cable car to the Spruce Plateau which offers a majestic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain looming over you. Then we will watch Impression Lijiang, a magnificent outdoor singing and dancing performance showcasing the tradition and lifestyle of the local ethnic people. Enjoy the beautiful landscape at the Baishui River (White Water River) and visit Blue Moon Valley (inclusive of battery car ride), which is actually is an extremely blue river meandering through the lush valley of the mountain. Then visit to Shuhe Ancient Town. Overnight at Lijiang Holidays Inn No.1 Xianghe Hotel or similar

In the morning, we will take the bullet train back to Kunming (2nd class seats) and visit the Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Memorial Arch located on the intersection of Sanshi Street, Jinbi Road. It was built during the reign of Xuande in Ming Dynasty. It stands at 12 miles in height and 18 miles in breadth and highlights the traditional features of Yunnan.
