Itinerary

• Day 1: Depart Kuala Lumpur (Monday / Friday)

  Depart Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
  

• Day 2: Arrive Quito, Ecuador

  Upon arrival in Quito, be picked up and transferred to your accommodation. Rest of the day at leisure to relax and rest.
  

• Day 3: Quito

  After breakfast, head out on a half day city tour of the Colonial city. Observe the bustling streets and squares of the largest historial old town in the Americas, a multiethnic, artistic and cultural destination. Continue with visit of the “Middle of World“ situated at 0o0’0” latitude.

• Day 4: Quito – Baltra (flight) – Embark Galapagos Cruise

  After breakfast, be picked up and transferred to the airport for your local flight to the amazing Galapagos Islands. Check in and embark onboad cruise ship for the next 3 nights. Reach Bartolome Island, one of the younger islands of Galapagos Archipelago; offering some of the most beautiful landscapes with its extinct
  volcano and formations.

• Day 5: Galapagos Cruise

  Morning visit to South Plaza Island, home to a large number of species and extraordinary flora. See the beautiful prickly pear cactus trees and the large colony of Galapagos land iguanas. Depending on the season, the color of the vegetation here also changes. Later continue to North Seymour Island, home to a large population of Blue-footed Boobies Swallow-tailed Gulls and Magnificent Frigate birds.

• Day 6: Galapagos Cruise

  Reach San Cristobal Island. Go on a visit of the Pitt Point and Islet. A fantastic location for snorkelling or diving. This is the only site where you can watch the 3 species of boobies and 2 species of frigates nesting in the same area. Then continue with a visit of Cerro Brujo. Its main attraction is the coral sand beach, in addition to the myriad of species of flora and fauna. It offers an excellent landscape from where you can see the León Dormido (Kicker Rock) geological formation, the south of the high part of San Cristobal and the coast bordering Cerro Brujo. There are two prominent halophytic plant species (Salicornia fructicosa and Scaevola plumieri), which characterize by being able to grow in soils with high salt content.

• Day 7: Disembark Galapagos Cruise – Guayaquil (flight)

  Morning visit of the Cerro Colorado Tortoise Reserve, located on the south-east of the island of San Cristobal. This reserve was built to see progression in the tortoise population on the island. Later take your local flight from San Cristobal Airport to back to the mainland, Guayaquil. Upon arrival, be picked up and transferred to your accommodation. Rest of the day at leisure with your own activities.

• Day 8: Depart Guayaquil

  After breakfast, enjoy the day at leisure with your own activities and perhaps to explore Guayaquil. Pick up and transfer to the airport for your international flights departing for home.
