When

Day 1:ARRIVE IN BERLIN, GERMANY.

Time to rest or to start exploring the German capital. At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and travelling companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.
(D)

Day 2:BERLIN.

Sightseeing with a Local Guide in the once-divided metropolis includes the elegant Ku’damm, the restored Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, and a photo stop at monumental Brandenburg Gate. Visit the Holocaust Memorial, and the 210-foot (64 metres) Victory Column in the vast Tiergarten park. Visit the KAISER WILHELM MEMORIAL CHURCH with its bomb-damaged tower, drive along Unter den Linden boulevard, and pass the State Opera House and Checkpoint Charlie.
(B)

Day 3:BERLIN-DRESDEN.

Arrive in Dresden, former capital of Saxony. Badly damaged by Allied bombing in February 1945, the city has since been restored to its baroque splendor. During your orientation, visit Zwinger Palace COURTYARD with its impressive architecture; the magnificent baroque Semper Opera, originally built in 1841-first destroyed by fire, then destroyed by bombing, and finally restored in 1985. Also see the newly rebuilt Frauenkirche.
(B)

Day 4:DRESDEN-ROTHENBURG.

Arrive in Rothenburg for an overnight stay in this magical medieval town, with its ramparts and towers, cobblestone lanes, and 16th-century houses. Enjoy an orientation walk and hear how the town survived the Thirty Years’ War. Perhaps, shop for Christmas ornaments.
(B)

Day 5:ROTHENBURG-AUGSBURG-MUNICH.

Drive south through Bavaria to the city of Augsburg. During your guided sightseeing see the cathedral, the Rathausplatz, and the Perlach Tower, the city’s most famous landmarks. The highlight is a visit to the TOWN HALL with its baroque Golden Hall. An interesting visit to the Fuggerei has also been included. A city within the city, the Fuggerei was founded almost 500 years ago by Jakob Fugger the Rich as a housing complex for needy Augsburgers, and it has been in continuous operation fulfilling its mission since that time. Here, in the oldest social housing complex in the world, visitors experience a fascinating journey through history-and the normal everyday life of its current residents. Continue to the Bavarian capital Munich.
(B)

Day 6:MUNICH.

Sightseeing with a Local Guide in Germany’s “Secret Capital.” See Munich’s Olympic Stadium, built for the 1972 Olympics, and the 1,000-foot (305 metre) high Olympic Tower. Drive along the Ludwigstrasse, and see the Bavarian Arch of Triumph and Field Marshall Hall. Also see the Konigsplatz, and visit MARIENPLATZ with its Old and the New Town Halls and the gothic Frauenkirche.
