Day 1:Arrive Reykjavik
Arrival at Reykjavik, transfer individually to your accommodation. Check in and spend the rest of the day at own leisure.
Day 2:The Westman Islands breakfast
Head to Hvollsvollur town and visit the LAVA Centre, exhibition about volcanic activity, earthquakes and creation. Then continue to Seljalandsfoss waterfall. From the Landeyjahofn harbor, take a 30-minute ferry ride to the Westman Island. Visit Storhofdi Point and take a walk up to the crater of a volcano. Next visit to the Eldheimar Museum to learn about the catastrophic 1973 eruption, then spend the rest of day on your own leisure.
Day 3:South Shore – Skogar – Vik breakfast
Take morning ferry and continue to the south coast. While in the UNESCO site of Katla Geopark, visit the Skogafoss waterfall and Solheimajokull, a glacier outlet from Mydralsjokull. Choose either the Glacier Hike or Glacier View Kayaking for an unforgettable glacier activity (for beginners with no previous experience ). Then visit the magical black sands of Reynisfjara beach. Lastly head to the Village of Vik for your overnight stay.
Day 4:: Vik– Skaftafell – Jokulsarlon breakfast & dinner
Visit the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park to views the Vatnajokull glacier. Then cross the Eldhraun , head to a landscape of black sand plains with braided rivers created when glacier capped volcanoes erupted. Visit Skaftafell, a glacier-ringed valley then to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon to see floating icebergs and the nearby Diamond Beach. Proceed to Iceberg Lagoon for a Zodiac boat tour before return to Vik for your overnight stay.
Day 5:Gullfoss – Geysir – Thingvellir – Reykjavik breakfast
Visit the Golden Circle region to discover about Iceland’s volcanic and glacial powers. Head to the Geysir geothermal field and see Strokkur, earth steams with volcano heat that spouts high in the air every few minutes. Then proceed to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls. Next is Thingvellir National Park, where the Viking age parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. Then head back to Reykjavik for overnight.
Day 6:Depart Reykjavik breakfast
After breakfast, transfer individually to the airport for your next destination.
