What To Expect
This extraordinary journey and witness Iceland’s amazing natural forces and experience the powers of Iceland’s world-famous southern coast such as Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall, the Glacial Lagoon/Diamond Beach, Eyjafjallajokull volcano, and the Blue Lagoon. Several overnights are in excellent locations for northern lights hunting.
  • Day 1: Arrival Keflavik - Reykjavik

    Arrival at Keflavik International airport , take the arrange transfer to your accommodation in Reykjavik. Early check-in is not guaranteed and most hotels will be happy to store your luggage if you arrived early. After check in , spend the day to explore city on your own and dinner this evening is at your leisure.

  • Day 2: Thingvellir – Geysir – Gullfoss

    Today start by visiting the Aurora Reykjavik Northern Lights Centre for introduction to northern lights. Then head to Thingvellir National Park (UNESCO World Heritage site) where the world’s oldest parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. Continue to the high-spouting Strokkur hot spring and visit the dramatic two-tiered Gullfoss waterfall.

    Stop at Skalholt, a culture center with a beautiful church. Also the town of Laugarvat and visit a unique outdoor geothermal bakery where sweet Icelandic rye bread is baked in hot sands.

    If weather conditions are right, go on a guided northern lights hunt on foot in the area outside your hotel tonight, or on the evening of Day 3 or 4.

  • Day 3: Iceland’s South Shore

    After breakfast, head to the Lava Centre to discover more on Icelandic volcanoes .Then admire the spectacular waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. Meet with some of our best countrymen with a visit to an Icelandic Search and Rescue (ICE-SAR) base and get an introduction to the unique ICE-SAR program. Proceed to visit the Reynisfjara beach with black sand and extraordinary rock formations. Finally cross Eldhraun , the vast lava field as we head to into Southeast Iceland. Have dinner and overnight in the Kirkjubaejarklaustur area.

  • Day 4: Vatnajokull National Park – Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon

    Today lets visit the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park, the largest one in Western Europe. Visit Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon for breath-taking sight of floating icebergs and nearby Diamond Beach, with icebergs settle on the black sands.
    Next is the Svinafellsjokull, galcier "toungues" emerging from Vatnajokull. Continue to Skaftafell area, with magnificent glaciers.

    Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 5: Hveragerdi – Blue Lagoon – Reykjavik

    Visit the Village of Hveragerdi ,located directly in the middle of a geothermal area. Then enjoy a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon. Then return to Reykjavik and spend the rest of the day and dinner this evening at your leisure.
