Day 1: BOROBUDUR – PRAMBANAN / CANDI REJO VILLAGE / MERAPI
Pick up at 08:00 am at hotel lobby. First, we will visit the largest Buddhist temple in the world – the iconic Borobudur temple. Be ready to be amazed at the extraordinary details on the construction around the temple. Proceed for tour of your choice. Choose one below:
: Lunch
~ Prambanan - After lunch, proceed to visit the majestic Hindu temple – the Prambanan temple. The temple complex is designated at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also called as the “Roro Jonggrang temple”. Be ready to be awed at the biggest and finest Hindu temple in the whole archipelago, then onward to visit a traditional batik home industry and silver processing at Kotagede. Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
~ Candi Rejo Village - After lunch, proceed to enjoying local traditional activities in Candi Rejo Village. Get around the village with the horse cart and spend your time by enjoying the numerous fun activities around the village. Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
~ Merapi - When heading back to Jogja, we will pass by the Salak fruit plantations. Mid-day, we will enjoy a traditional Javanese lunch at Saung Apung Timblu Toso – a restaurant with huts built over fishpond, offering a quiet and peaceful ambiance. We will proceed to see the beautiful scenery of the Merapi Volcano from Kali Adem Village (Exclude Jeep). Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
