Day 1: JOGJA CITY TOUR – BOROBUDUR / PRAMBANAN / PARANGTRITIS BEACH
Pick up at 08:00 am at hotel lobby. First, we will visit the “Kraton”, the magnificent royal palace of the Sultan (Closed on Monday). We will continue the tour to Taman Sari water castle, then onward to visit a traditional batik home industry. Next, we will visit Kotagede to see a hundred-year-old tradition still being practiced by local silver craftsmen. Proceed for tour of your choice. Choose one below:
: Lunch
~ Borobudur - After lunch, proceed to visit the largest Buddhist temple in the world – the iconic Borobudur temple. Be ready to be amazed at the extraordinary details on the construction around the temple. Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
~ Prambanan - After lunch, proceed to visit the majestic Hindu temple – the Prambanan temple. The temple complex is designated at the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also called as the “Roro Jonggrang temple”. Be ready to be awed at the biggest and finest Hindu temple in the whole archipelago. Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
~ Parangtritis Beach - After lunch, proceed to visit the Kasongan village to learn the art of clay pottery making with their unique designs before heading to the beautiful sand dunes at Parangkusumo. Enjoy an unforgettable romantic sunset at the splendid Parangtritis beach. Finally, transfer back to hotel at the evening.
