What To Expect
Charming hilltop towns, acres of lemon groves and vineyards, mile after mile of stunning cliffs kissed by cobalt-blue waters… its official name is the Amalfi Coast, but this magical land answers to "heaven." On this trip, you’ll live like one of the region’s (incredibly lucky) locals, discovering the small towns, mountain trails, and local customs of this uniquely beautiful place. Explore the ruins of Pompeii in the morning, hike the coastline of the Med by afternoon, and tuck into bed at your converted 17th-century monastery home base at sundown. It's paradise, found.
  • Day 1: Arrive Naples

    Arrive at any time.

Welcome to Naples, home to the best pizza of the world. As fellow travellers are arriving throughout the day, there are no planned activities until a group meeting at 6pm. Check into the hotel (check-in time is approx 3pm) and enjoy the city.

  • Day 2: Naples-Furore

Start the day with a G Adventures supported migrant-led tour of Naples. Afterwards, travel to Pompeii to enjoy a guided tour of the partially buried ruins before transferring to a beautiful agriturismo nestled in the hills above the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy the first of many delicious home cooked Italian dinners and one of three cooking demonstrations.

After you've had time to settle into your room, the hosts will give you a tour of the property and tell you a bit about themselves and the agriturismo's history.

★★★☆☆

Via Francesco Saverio Correra, 241, 80135 Napoli NA, Italy

In the historic centre of Naples, reclaimed from a former factory and an antique block of flats, Hotel Correra 241 is born, the ideal launching pad for visits to the city. Correra 241 is Naples first Art Hotel where the hospitality meets a gallery of contemporary art. Built against a bed of volcanic tuff, from which an antique Greek-Roman aqueduct meanders away, it is a unique building of strong contrasts, intense and passionate colours.

★★★☆☆

Via S. Alfonso, 6, 84010 Furore SA, Italy
