Day 1:KUALA LUMPUR- KATHMANDU

Arrive Kathmandu, meet & greet. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2:KATHMANDU

Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of Patan Durbar Square. Lunch in the Local restaurant. Afternoon tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath stupa. Dinner in the Local restaurant. Overnight in the Hotel. Kathmandu Durbar Square: listed as one of the eight Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City. The Palace Complex was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and is the site of important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch. The palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows and panels an. It houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and the Mahendra Museum. Major attraction in this area are Kumari House, Kasthamandup temple, Taleju temple, Hanuman Dhoka, Jaggannath temple, Shiva Parvati temple etc. Swoyambhunath Stupa: The Buddhist temple situated on the top of a hill, west of Kathmandu, is one of the most popular, holy and instantly recognizable symbols of Nepal. The temple is colloquially known as the Monkey temple because of large tribe of roving monkeys who guard the temple. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four side of the spire’s base are all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. Due to its location, it commands a good view of whole Kathmandu Valley. This Stupa is oldest of its kind in Kathmandu Valley. It was listed in UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE monument.

Day 3:KATHMANDU- NAGARKOT

Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa. Lunch in the Local restaurant. Tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Proceed to Nagarkot and check in at your Hotel. Dinner & Overnight in the hotel. Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple, with its astonishing architectural beauty, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world, Pashupatinath Temple’s existence dates back to 400 A.D. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple, that is also known as ‘The Temple of Living Beings’. Cremation takes place in bank of river Bagmati, just outside the temple premises. Boudhanath Stupa: Boudhanath Stupa, the biggest Stupa in Nepal, lies about 7 KM east of the capital. The Stupa, also called by many as Khasti Chaitya, is one of the oldest Stupas in the country. After 1959, may Tibetans arrived and settled in Boudhanath area. The Stupa, a well known Buddhist pilgrimage site, is included in World Heritage Cultural site lit by UNESCO. With diameter of about 100 m and 40 m height, Boudhanath holds its place among the largest Stupas in the world. The Boudhanath Stupa covers a vast area. It has a round path at the bottom while another path is made of threetier plinth. The Stupa resembles Swoyambhunath Stupa to some extent. The most impressive part of the Stupa is the eyes of the Buddha which are painted with red, white and blue colors. Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an assortment of Pagoda and Shikara style temples grouped around a fifty five windows palace of brick and wood. The square is part of a charming valley as it highlights the idols of ancient kings perched on top of stone monoliths, the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in very place- struts, lintels, tympanums, gateways and windows- all seem to form a well orchestrated symphony. Places of interest here are Lion Gate, Golden Gate, 55 windows Palace, 5 storied Nyatapola temple, pottery square etc.

Day 4:NAGARKOT- POKHARA

Breakfast in the hotel. Check out- drive to Pokhara for 8 hours. Lunch Enroute at Local Restaurant. OPTION: ENROUTE TAKE CABLE CAR RIDE TO MANOKAMANA TEMPLE & RETURN- RM 110 PER PERSON (1 AND HALF HOUR BREAK). Check in at Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner & overnight in the hotel.

Day 5:POKHARA

Early morning sunrise excursion to Sarankot hill. Breakfast in the hotel. Tour of Pokhara valley which includes Davis fall, Shiva Cave, Phewa Lake, Tibetan Refugee camp. One hour boat ride in Fewa Lake in the afternoon. Dinner & Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 6:POKHARA- KATHMANDU

Early morning sunrise excursion to Sarankot hill. After breakfast, return Kathmandu over-land. Lunch Enroute. OPTION OF TAKING DOMESTIC FLIGHT AVAILABLE @ RM 550.00 per person. Check in at Hotel. Farewell dinner with Nepalese Cultural show at Local Restaurant. Overnight in the Hotel.
