New Zealand’s North Island is home to the country’s biggest city, Auckland, and capital city, Wellington. In between the North Island consists of a hugely diverse landscape made up of beautiful beaches, snow-covered mountains, caves and native bushland for you to explore.

Day 1:Arrive Auckland
On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self-drive clients will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.
Day 2:Auckland – Waitomo – Matamata – Rotorua
Travel south past rolling green hills and lush pastureland to Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Enjoy a guided tour of the weird and wonderful limestone formations and a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms. Continue to Matamata and visit Hobbiton Movie Set for a guided tour of ‘Middle Earth’. Continue to Rotorua.
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show before continuing to Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife. This afternoon is at leisure to experience some of Rotorua’s other attractions. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert.
Day 4:Rotorua – Auckland
Choose whether you spend the morning in Rotorua or the afternoon in Auckland for some optional activities (optional activities not included in the tour price). Transfer from Rotorua to Auckland.
Day 5:Depart Auckland
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer or the return of your rental car.
