Itinerary

• Day 1: ARRIVE TUNIS – SIDI BOU SAID – TUNIS

  Arrival to Tunis airport, meet up with the local representative and proceed to the beautiful village of Sidi Bou Said . Check in and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Have buffet dinner and overnight in Tunis.

• Day 2: TUNIS – BARDO - MEDINA – CARTHAGE – SOUSSE

  After breakfast, visit the Bardo Museum before going for a short orientation tour by foot to the old Medina. Have lunch before continuing to the site of ancient Carthage. This includes the Byrsa Hill and the Archaeological Park centered on the Antonine Baths. Depart to the coastal town of Sousse. Check in and spend the rest of the day at own leisure. Buffet Dinner and overnight in Sousse.

• Day 3: SOUSSE – EL JEM – MATMATA – DOUZ

  After breakfast, head to El Jem and visit the largest Roman Amphitheater in North Africa and the remains of the Roman villas in the town. Then proceed to Matmata of Star Wars notoriety. Visit one of the dwelling caves, where Star Wars were filmed. Have lunch before driving to the town. Spend some time to explore the Desert of Douz before checking in. Buffet Dinner and overnight in Douz.

• Day 4: DOUZ – CHOTT EL JERID – TOZEUR

  After breakfast, drive across the Chott El Jerid, the Great Salt Lake. Upon arrival in Tozeur, check in at hotel and have lunch at the hotel restaurant. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to do some exploration of this very interesting and unique town. Buffet Dinner and overnight in Tozeur.

• Day 5: TOZEUR – JELMA – KAIROUAN

  After breakfast, proceed to the Mountain Oasis of Chebika, Tamerza and Mides. In Chebika, take a walk to see the Berber village, waterfalls and the spring of the water before continue to the picturesque village of Tamerza. Have lunch in a village of Jelma continue by bus north to Kairouan. Upon arrival in Kairouan , check in accordingly and later in the afternoon go for a guided walking tour through workshops bakeries, magnificent houses and religious monuments in Kairouan old town. Discover the carpet handicraft of Kairouan an exclusive feminine work. Buffet Dinner and overnight in Kairouan.

• Day 6: KAIROUAN – RAKKADA – HAMMAMET

  After breakfast, spend the morning in the holy town of Kairouan. Visit the great mosque of Sidi Okba and the 3 door mosque as well as the mausoleum of Sidi Essahib, the shrine and the mosque, the Aghalabite water pools from the 9th century and the Medina. Also visit the museum of Islamic art of Rakkada. Have lunch before proceed to the town of Hammamet. After check in, spend the rest of the day exploring Hammamet city at own leisure.Buffet Dinner and overnight in Hammamet.
