When

Day 1:ARRIVAL ISTANBUL

Arrive at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul. Welcome and assist by our English speaking tour guide. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:ISTANBUL – IZMIR – KUSADASI

After breakfast at hotel we drive to Izmir. Lunch en-route. We will have free time at Izmir. We will see historical elevator, Konak Square and more. Thern drive to Kusadasi for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:KUSADASI – PAMUKKALE

Following breakfast we drive to Selcuk to visit Ephesus as well as viewing one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Temple of Artemis (One of the Seven Wonders of Antiquity) and the Basilica of St. John from a distance, followed by lunch in the township of Selcuk. After lunch we will visit the famous local production center for leather garments whereby after a live Fashion Show time will be allocated for shopping. Then continue to Pamukkale. You will tour the Ancient City of Hierapolis today called Pamukkale where Calcareous hot springs descending over cliffs have created fascinating travertines in the form of white terrace and basins. After a picture break, dinner and overnight.

Day 4:PAMUKKALE – KONYA – CAPPADOCIA

Following an early breakfast we will drive through an interesting landscape where peasants make their living, to have lunch enroute before arriving in Konya. Konya was the center of the Seljuk Empire as well as the city of Mevlana and his Whirling Dervishes. After visiting the Mevlana Museum, we will continue to Cappadocia and visit the Sultanhani Caravanserai enroute. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5:CAPPADOCIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion tour of the Cappadocia region. Highlights of the day; Underground city, Pasabag Valley, Uçhisar village, traditional handmade Carpet Factory, Pottery in Avanos Village. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 6:CAPPADOCIA – ESKISEHIR

Breakfast at hotel drive to then drive to Eskisehir or “old city” in Turkisk. Visit the Kursunlu Mosque Complex built in 1525 by Mustafa Pasha during the time of Suleiman the magnificent. The mosque consist a fountain in the courtyard, a rest house, a kitchen and a caravanserai in the middle. There are also rooms in the complex and a place called mevlevihane (secluded praying house). At the back of the mosque are family graves belonging to last Mevlevi sheikh Hasan dede. Enjoy a stroll around the historical houses of Odunpazarı district famed for its colorful houses and also a destined UNESCO heritage site. Dinner and overnight at Eskisehir

Day 7:ESKISEHIR – ISTANBUL

After breakfast drive to Istanbul. Upon arrival to Istanbul we will have lunch at local restaurant. Following lunch Visit Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and unique with its 6 minarets built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Then Hippodrome – where chariot races and gladiator sports used to take place. Then visit the marvelous oriental Topkapi Palace

Day 8:DEPARTURE ISTANBUL

After breakfast, drop to the 500year old Grand Bazaar – a maze of more than 4000 stalls and shops. Transfer to the airport.
