What To Expect
Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon – as it’s still called – can seem to be one chaotic mess of traffic-clogged roads and urban bustle. But you will be seduced by the hidden charms in this lively city. Teeming markets, sidewalk cafés, massage and acupuncture clinics, centuries-old pagodas, sleek skyscrapers and ramshackle wooden shops selling silk, spices, baskets and handmade furniture all vie for attention amidst this surreal multi-colored city. Saigon must-sees include the Vietnam History Museum; the grisly War Remnants Museum; and Cholon, the Chinese District, with its pagodas and exotic stores. Dong Khoi Street — formerly fashionable Rue Catinat during the French era and Tu Do, or Freedom Street, during the Vietnam War — is a strip of grand hotels, some dating from the colonial era, chic shops and boutiques, and lots of fine dining and cafes. Saigon food is some of the best Vietnam has to offer, its nightlife sparkles, and the shopping here is eclectic. Brash and noisy, Ho Chi Minh City has an attitude.-

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – Vung Tau
Breakfast at hotel. At 08:30 – 08:40am a car will pick you up and send to the meeting point for joining with other tourists. Depart for Cu Chi - located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220 km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was "A Free Target Zone". Drive to (120 km away from Ho Chi Minh City) with beautiful beach - a well know weekend coastal resort southeast of Ho Chi Minh City visit to the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai Where the mansion overlooking the Vietnam East Sea and is one of Vung Tau’s major landmark. Day 3: Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast at hotel and enjoy sea bathing. Next climb up the Jesus Monument and you will have great view which overlooks the peninsula and the Pacific Ocean. Next, visit ThienHau Temple of Five Races and the Whale Temple, which is dedicated to a sea-deity who apparently appeared in the form of a whale to save the people of Vung Tau. Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho – Mekong Delta
Breakfast at hotel. At 07:45am a car will pick you up and send to the meeting point for joining with other tourists. 08:00am: Depart for My Tho. Take the boat ride through the BaoDinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise Island.
