Day 1: Arrive Lusaka
Arrive into Lusaka International airport. Be met and greeted before being transferred by road to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit the Kabwata Cultural Village to get a feel of the local culture and lifestyle of ordinary Zambians. The vibrant atmosphere of the cultural village showcases the warmth of the Zambian people and sets the tone for the rest of the Zambian trip. Dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 2: Lusaka - Mfuwe - Lower Zambezi (Sausage Tree Camp) (Local Flight)
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Mfuwe airstrip for a flight to Lower Zambezi National Park ( Jeki Airstrip). Upon arrival, transfer to Sausage Tree Bush Camp for check in. Sausage Tree is an exclusive camp with a chic approach to bush life. The camp sits on the banks of the Zambezi River which allows guests to enjoy game viewing by boat and canoes, as well as vehicles. Fishing and birding opportunities are available and Game drives remain the best game viewing opportunity. There are also opportunities for night drive to see nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3: Lower Zambezi (Sausage Tree Camp)
Rise early this morning for a morning activity offered; perhaps a gentle canoe trip meandering the river banks wildlife, or a game drive to catch sight of lion or leopard before they take shade for the day, or a walk to encapsulate the personality of a herd of elephant or buffalo and to take in the smaller and often missed intimacy of the African bush.

Enjoy some time at leisure and take advantage of the Camp facilities.
Afternoon activity, as the sun starts to cool now is the time for fishing, a Sausage Tree Camp spectacular, as we have the finest Tiger fishing in the world. Or you may prefer to head off into the early sunset by vehicle to enjoy the myriad of nocturnal species, not just cats, but honey badger or porcupine or the ever elusive but majestic Giant Eagle Owl or Pels Fishing Owl.

After breakfast this morning, check out and transfer to the airstrip for the flight to Livingstone Airport. Transfer by road to your accommodation at the luxurious Tongabezi Lodge; situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, just upstream of the Victoria Falls. Game drives, bush walks, and boating trips are all-inclusive. Victoria Falls can be viewed in close proximity to the lodge, on a short excursion with your guide.
