Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi, be met and greeted by our local representative before being transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy an introduction orientation tour of Nairobi city and a visit to the Karen Blixen Giraffe Centre. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure with your own activities.

Day 2 Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive approximately 3.5 to 4 hours (157 km) to Lake Nakuru National Park. After arriving and checking into your lodge, enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its rhinos, and diverse birdlife. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast, drive 5 to 5.5 hours (250 km) to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive around midday, check into your accommodation, and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, famous for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife, including the Big Five. Return to your lodge for dinner and a restful evening.

Day 4 Masai Mara

Full day game drive. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and depart around 9:00 AM for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon around 6:00 PM for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Masai Mara – Serengeti

After completing your immigration formalities, you will be welcomed by your guide/driver around 11:00–11:30 AM before setting off on a scenic 4.5-hour journey to Central Serengeti.

The drive takes you past charming villages and rolling farmlands, offering a glimpse into local life before you enter the vast wilderness of the park. Enjoy lunch en route while entry formalities are arranged, followed by an exciting game drive as you make your way deeper into the plains. You are expected to arrive at your accommodation between 5:00–5:30 PM, where a hearty dinner and a relaxing evening await.

Day 6 Serengeti

Start the day with a leisurely breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive around 8:00 AM, or opt for an early morning drive at 6:00 AM followed by a second drive in the afternoon. Explore the heart of the Central Serengeti, home to abundant wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and more. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic spot as you continue your game viewing. Return to the lodge by late afternoon for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 7 Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area around noon, with a picnic lunch en route. Travel through scenic landscapes, spotting wildlife along the way, and stop at Naabi Hill Gate for lunch and a short hike with panoramic views of the Serengeti plains. Continue through changing terrain and Maasai villages before ascending to the cooler Ngorongoro Highlands. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Karatu/Tarangire

Start early with a quick breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater around 6:30 AM for a 5-hour game drive on the crater floor. Explore this spectacular caldera, home to diverse wildlife including elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool before ascending from the crater. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 9 Tarangire - Arusha

On the final day of your safari, enjoy breakfast before driving 2–2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park for a half-day game drive. Discover its iconic baobab trees and the Tarangire River, home to large elephant herds and other wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras. By mid-afternoon, return to Arusha (2–2.5 hours), arriving at your accommodation around 5:30 PM, concluding your safari with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s landscapes and wildlife.

Day 10 Arusha - Amboseli

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to the Namanga border, enjoying scenic farmlands and rural villages along the way. Complete immigration formalities before continuing to Amboseli. Arrive around noon, check in, and enjoy lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Return to your lodge by early evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 Amboseli – Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning and proceed for game drives around 6:15 AM. Continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out from camp and proceed to Nairobi to reach by around 3:00 PM.
