After breakfast, drive through scenic valleys surrounded by dramatic mountains to Skagafjörður, a region famous for Icelandic horse breeding. Learn about this unique breed and its special fifth gait, the tölt, unchanged since Viking times.

Continue across the Holtavörðuheiði plateau into West Iceland, passing through Borgarfjörður, known for its volcanic landscapes, woodlands, and Viking history. Visit Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, and admire the Hraunfossar waterfalls, where bright blue water flows through black lava formations. Nearby, see Barnafoss, a waterfall with stunning blue hues and a legendary story.

After breakfast, explore the natural beauty of Snæfellsjökull National Park, home to the Snæfellsjökull glacier, which sits atop a dormant volcano.
