Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Colombo – Negombo

Arrive at Colombo International Airport, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to Negombo. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Negombo – Chilaw – Jaffna

After breakfast, visit the Munneswaram Kovil, a significant Hindu temple. Then, travel to Jaffna, with a lunch stop en route. Visit the historic Jaffna Fort, built by the Portuguese in 1618 and later expanded by the Dutch and the British. Check into your hotel in Jaffna for the evening and enjoy dinner.

Day 3 Jaffna

Explore several sacred sites, starting with the Nagapoosani Temple, dedicated to the Serpent God. Then, visit the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, an ancient temple with a rich history, and the Keerimalai Naguleswaram Temple, one of the five ancient Shiva temples in Sri Lanka. Return to your hotel in Jaffna for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 Jaffna - Dambulla - Sigiriya

After breakfast, you’ll head to Dambulla to explore the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 150 Buddha statues. You’ll also have the chance to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, another UNESCO-listed site, known for its impressive ruins and stunning views. Following the sightseeing, you’ll check in at a hotel in Dambulla for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Dambulla - Kandy

After breakfast, transfer to Kandy. En route, visit the Spice Garden in Mawanella. After lunch, visit the Temple of the Tooth, a sacred Buddhist site. Explore Kandy’s sights including Upper Lake Drive, Market Crafts Centre, and Gem Museum. End the day with the Kandy Cultural Show before checking into your hotel in Kandy for overnight stay.

Day 6 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, transfer to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit Ramboda Falls and the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple. Enjoy lunch before visiting a Tea Factory to learn about tea production. Explore Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” with visits to Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, and Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Check into your hotel and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya - Kataragama

Today begins with a scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, a picturesque town in the hills. You’ll visit the Nine Arches Bridge iconic sights. Later, travel to Kataragama, with a stop at the Seetha Amman Temple, followed by lunch. Visit the Murugan Temple, a popular pilgrimage site. Afterward, check into your hotel in Kataragama for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 Kataragama – Galle – Colombo

Optional morning jeep safari at Yala National Park (RM 400 per person). Then, transfer to Galle and explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience traditional Stilt Fishing and continue your journey to Colombo. Check into your hotel and overnight stay in Colombo.
