In the park area you will have the chance to meet a herder family inside their yurt and enjoy a tailored Naadam show featuring wrestling, archery, and horseracing. Conclude the day with a traditional Mongolian Hot Pot dinner

Embark on an Ulaanbaatar sightseeing tour :-

the impressive Ghandan Monastery, Bogd Khan Palace, a former royal residence and Zaisan monument.

Later board our private train, and begin our trans-continental adventure. We expect to reach the Mongolian border station Sukhbaatar and the Russian border station Naushki. Both immigration formalities for will take place in the train, conveniently without the need to disembark.

Awaken to a new day as we traverse Ulan Ude. Join us for breakfast in the dining car, energizing for the scenic journey alongside Lake Baikal. In the afternoon, our train arrives in Irkutsk, known as the “Paris of Siberia,” rich in history and trade connections to Mongolia and China.

Today’s highlight with the Grand Trans-Siberian Express is sure to amaze you — Lake Baikal, the world’s deepest lake and largest freshwater reserve.

Start the day with a local guide exploring Listvyanka village, 70 km from Irkutsk. Visit the Taltsy Museum to experience traditional wooden architecture, enjoy a tasty lunch, then take a one-hour boat cruise. Discover Listvyanka’s sights, including St. Nicholas Church and the Baikal Limnological Museum.

Irkutsk is famous for its trade with Mongolia and China and used to be called “Paris of Siberia” because of its colourful life style during the time of the Tsars. You visit the old town with its large quarters still consisting of wooden houses only, before invited to the cultural highlight of the tour, a private classical concert in a Mansion of historical background. In the evening you re-join the private train.

Krasnoyarsk, like Yekaterinburg and Ulan-Ude used to be a “closed city” during Soviet times – closed to foreigners and also to most Soviet citizens at that time. It is located along the Yenissei River which is the greatest river system flowing to the Arctic Ocean.

A city sightseeing tour shows you some remarkable Orthodox churches that have survived the Soviet period, and you see the famous Opera House, which is the largest in Russia, situated in the center of the city at Lenin Square. Also worth seeing is the local food market, which is famous all over Siberia for its wide range of products. In the afternoon, an excursion takes you out of the city into the Taiga. About 30 km out of the city, you have the opportunity to visit the largest open-air railway museum in Russia.

Today the train arrives in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural Mountains. Founded in 1723 by Czar Peter I as a metallurgical center, it became one of Russia’s largest financial, industrial, and cultural hubs by the 20th century. Located at the Europe-Asia border, the city features the “Cathedral on The Blood,” built where Czar Nicholas II and his family were executed in 1918. An excursion into the Ural forests takes you to Ganina Yama, considered a “holy place” with wooden chapels honoring the last Czar’s family, erected in the 1990s.

Today you leave Yekaterinburg in the morning and enjoy a typical day on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Your private train passes through the Ural Mountains and an endless scenery of forests, lakes and small settlements. A day to relax, watch the landscape and listen to lectures about the country and its people.

Kazan sounds like a vibrant and culturally rich city to explore. The city tour, especially centered around the iconic Kremlin, must offer a fascinating glimpse into the history and blend of Tatar and Russian cultures. DAY 12 – Disembark from train. The day in Moscow begins with a tour of Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral, followed by exploration of the State Historical Museum.

DAY 13 – A journey through the Moscow Metro’s stunning stations precedes a stroll along Arbat Street for lunch and shopping. The afternoon is free for further exploration or relaxation at Arbat street, culminating in a final dinner to reflect on the journey.
