Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Lijiang
Upon arrival at Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to Amandayan. Perched atop Lion Hill overlooking the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Lijiang, Amandayan offers sweeping views of the surrounding countryside and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the resort’s facilities and tranquil surroundings.
Day 2 Lijiang: Gateway to a Living Past
Embark on a half-day cultural journey introducing the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region. Visit Wenfeng Temple, experience the ancient art of Dongba calligraphy, and discover the traditions of the Naxi people. Continue to the historic village of Ciman before enjoying a traditional home-style Naxi meal. In the afternoon, enjoy Afternoon Tea at Amandayan Tea House overlooking the rooftops of Lijiang Old Town. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Lijiang: Gateway to Shangri-La
Journey through the dramatic landscapes of northwestern Yunnan on a full-day excursion to Shangri-La. Visit the spectacular Tiger Leaping Gorge before continuing to Shangri-La. Explore the magnificent Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, and wander through the historic streets of Dukezong Ancient Town before returning to Lijiang in the evening.

Day 4 Lijiang: Leisure at Amandayan
Today is free for you to enjoy Amandayan and its surroundings at your own pace. Included during your stay is a rejuvenating 60-minute Warm Bamboo Spa Treatment. Guests may participate in Amandayan’s scheduled cultural activities, explore the nearby Old Town independently, or simply relax while enjoying views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. In the evening, enjoy Amandayan’s signature Black Clay Hot Pot dining experience featuring the region’s renowned preserved pork ribs.
