Upon arrival in Chubu International Airport, meet the driver and transfer to the hotel for check-in.

After breakfast at the hotel, make your own arrangement to the meeting point to join the seat-in coach day tour.

• 08:30AM: Meeting and departure from Nagoya Ekimae Mini Stop Meieki Tsubakicho store.
• 11:00AM: Stroll through the old townscape of Hida Takayama 飞驮高山 and feel like you have traveled back in time to the Edo period. This will take approximately 150 minutes, including lunchtime.
• 14:30PM: Visit Shirakawa-go Gassan Village 白川乡合掌村, the third village registered as a World Heritage Site. It’s like a kingdom of streams and forests, and you can feel the beauty of nature here. This will take approximately 90 minutes. Tickets for the Kanda family are not included but are recommended. Shirakawa-go’s limited winter illuminations are held a few times yearly, making it seem like a fairy-tale world.
• 16:00PM: Departure from Shirakawa-go and return to Nagoya Station.
• 18:30PM: Drop off at Nagoya Station, make your own arrangement back to the hotel

• After breakfast at the hotel, make your own arrangement to the meeting point to join the seat-in coach day tour.
• 08:40AM: Meet the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter at the Nagoya Station Tourist Information Center
• 08:50AM: Depart from Nagoya Station. Ride the limited express train Wide View Shinano (ordinary car, reserved seat)
• 09:51AM: Arrive at Nakatsugawa Station and transfer to a route bus. (Non-reserved seats)
• 11:10AM: Arrive at Magome and stroll around the post town.
  The post town sits on a sloped area which stretches for about 600 meters. The road is paved with stones, and lined with
  houses that evoke the richness of Japan’s history. Take a stroll around Magome where visitors will find a large waterwheel, old Japanese folk houses, historical stone monuments, and more. After strolling, take the route bus to the walk starting point.
• Nakasendo Trail Walking (3.3km) 中山道徒步- Nakasendo Trail which connects the two beautiful post towns of Magome 马笼宿 and Tsumago 妻笼宿. The tour will take a stroll while enjoying the beautiful valley and rural area scenery with stone-paved streets and Japanese cedar trees.
• Arrive at Tsumago – Japan’s first post town to preserve its district, creating an area that has seemingly stopped in time 400 years ago. Head to the Nagisomachi Museum (Waki Honjin Okuya) 南木曾町博物馆. Honjin, the post town’s main inn, is where the feudal lords and other people of high status stayed. Afterwards, feel free to enjoy sightseeing.
• 15:30PM: Take a taxi to JR Nagiso Station
  *The tour may ride in several taxis depending on the number of participants. *If taxis are full, the tour may take a route bus instead.
• 15:56PM: Arrive at JR Nagiso Station. Ride the limited express train Wide View Shinano (ordinary car, reserved seat)
• 17:06PM:Arrive at JR Nagoya Station, make your own arrangement back to the hotel
