Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Almaty

Upon arrival at Almaty Airport, meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Almaty.

Day 2 Almaty

Breakfast at hotel. followed by a panoramic city tour. Visit Park of the 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, Zenkov Cathedral, and the War Memorial. Explore Republic Square and the Independence Monument. Enjoy an excursion to Kok Tobe Hill, with stunning city views and a cable car ride. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight in Almaty.

Day 3 Almaty - Charyn Canyon & Kolsay Lake - Almaty

After breakfast, transfer to Charyn Canyon (3hrs), known for its stunning rock formations and deep gorges. Continue to Saty Village (2hrs) to visit the lowest Kolsay Lake, surrounded by alpine scenery and dense spruce forests. Return to the city and overnight in Almaty.

Day 4 Presidential Park & Alma Arasan Gorge

After breakfast, visit the Presidential Park followed by a scenic drive to Alma Arasan Gorge. This picturesque gorge features mountain-meadow landscapes, spruce forests, and an abundance of wild herbs and shrubs. The Prokhodnaya River flows through the gorge, and the area is famous for its Alma-Arasan thermalradon sulfur springs. Return to the city and overnight in Almaty.

Day 5 Lesnaya Skazka Mountain Resort

After breakfast, head to the Lesnaya Skazka Mountain Resort (also known as Oi-Qaragai). Enjoy the charming atmosphere of this cozy ski resort. Day 8 Tashkent - Samarkand (train)

Day 9 Samarkand - Bukhara (train)

After breakfast, visit the Afrosiab Museum to learn about Samarkand’s history, including its origins and the impact of Alexander the Great and the Mongol invasion.
