~ Amangalla is around a two hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Sri Lanka’s main airport, 30 kilometers north of Colombo. Seaplanes fly daily from Colombo to Koggala, a 25-minute drive from Amangalla. Alternatively, guests could take a one hour helicopter flight to Galle.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Amangalla, Sri Lanka
Independent transport from Bandaranaike International Airport to Amangalla. Once arrive, Meet & Greet by Amangalla representative.
Day 2 Amangalla Experience
Experience a traditional Sri Lankan roti dinner (Sri Lankan street food) on a secluded coconut-palm ‘island’ surrounded by rice paddies, lit by endless candles and flaming torches as the orange hues of the waning sun set over the emerald rice fields. Includes tax, service charge, all transfers by private vehicle or tuk tuk, an accompanying roti Chef, waiter and butler, arrack sours, soft drinks, beer and the dinner. Day 3 Amangalla Experience
Explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a historical tour with your butler passing by centuries-old churches, warehouses, lighthouse, temples, and residential and government buildings. (USD 30 Per Couple Including taxes & Fees) or your own leisure.
Day 4 Depart Amangalla
After breakfast, time at leisure before checking out and transferring to the airport for departing flights.
