Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Perth
Arrival in Perth Airport (no meet & greet), pick up your rental car at Perth Airport. You can explore Perth city, start with a visit to Kings Park and Botanic Garden for panoramic views of the city and Swan River. Then explore the Perth Cultural Centre, in cluding the Art Gallery of Western Australia. You also can go to Elizabeth Quay, stroll along the riverside and enjoy dinner at own arrangement.
Day 2 Perth - Swan Valley - Perth
Begin your day with a visit to Caversham Wildlife Park to get up close with native Australian wildlife, located just a 25‐
minute drive from Perth. After exploring, heading to the Swan Valley Food & Wine Trail, a scenic 15-minute drive away.
Along the way, you may stop at Sandalford Wines for a tasting and visit The House of Honey and Mondo Nougat & Morish
Nuts to sample local treats. Enjoy your lunch in Swan Valley and optional stopping at Mandoon Estate or Margaret River
Chocolate Co. In the afternoon, drive approximately 40 minutes to Fremantle Markets (open Friday-Sunday with free
entry) to browse local crafts and produce. Continue your exploration with a guided tour of Fremantle Prison. On the way
back to Perth, stop by the iconic Blue Boat House for a quick photo. Conclude your day with dinner in Perth.
Day 3 Perth - Rottnest Island Day Trip - Perth
In the morning, drive about 30 minutes to Fremantle B-Shed Terminal to catch the Rottnest Express Ferry. The roundtrip
ferry ride is included and takes you across to the beautiful Rottnest Island. Spend the day exploring Rottnest Island at your own pace. You can rent a bicycle for a fun ride around the island or choose the hop-on-hop-off bus for a more relaxed option. Popular spots to visit include The Basin for swimming and snorkeling, Pinky Beach with its scenic coastline, Wadjemup Lighthouse for panoramic views, and Little Salmon Bay for a peaceful beach break. In the afternoon, take
the return ferry back to Fremantle. You may enjoy a seaside dinner at Cicerello’s Fremantle, well-known for its delicious
fish and chips before drive back to Perth to end your day.
Day 4 Perth - Penguin Island & Rockingham - Perth
Take a morning drive south to Shoalwater Bay, where you can catch a ferry to Penguin Island (open seasonally between October and early June). Watch the adorable little penguins during their feeding session, or opt for a wildlife cruise to see dolphins, sea lions, and even pelicans. In the afternoon, unwind at Rockingham Beach or take in panoramic views from Point Peron Lookout. Drive back to Perth and enjoy a laid-back dinner in the city.
Day 5 Perth
Start your day with a scenic 2-hour drive from Perth to the unique Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Wander
through the otherworldly limestone formations and enjoy the vast desert landscape, perfect for photos and short walks.
Along the way, you can make an optional stop at Yanchep National Park to see koalas and native bushland. At the Pinnacles, wander through a striking landscape of ancient limestone spires, and visit the Pinnacles Discovery Centre to learn about the area’s natural history. After exploring, continue north for about 40 minutes to enjoy lunch in either Cervantes or Jurien Bay, two laid-back coastal towns with fresh seafood and local cafés. In the afternoon, drive about 1 hour to the Lancelin Sand Dunes, a fun spot for outdoor adventure. You can rent a sandboard for around and try your hand at sliding down the soft white dunes. Wrap up the day with a 1.5-hour drive back to Perth and enjoy dinner in the city to end your adventure.
Day 6 Perth - Departure
Check out of your accommodation and enjoy some free time at your leisure before heading to the airport. If you’d like to squeeze in some last-minute shopping, consider a 10-minute drive to Watertown Brand Outlet for great deals on fashion and more. After shopping, return your rental car and head to the airport for your departure.
