Day 1 Your Journey Begins in Prague

Arrive in Prague today and check in at your hotel for a two-night stay. After you’ve settled in, set out to explore the capital of the Czech Republic. Prague is known as the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’ due to its steeple-woven skyline, and from a vantage point along the river or looking down from the St. Vitus Cathedral, you’ll be able to see why. Indulge in some fantastic Czech cuisine this evening and be sure to try a local beer – many say it is the finest in the world. (Overnight in Prague)

Day 2 Prague

Get ready to experience Prague through the eyes and appetite of a local. This immersive walking tour takes you beyond the usual tourist paths to sample some of the city’s most authentic and beloved flavors. Savor hearty local hams and sausages, warm up with traditional Czech soups, and try the iconic Knedlíky dumplings, an essential part of Czech cuisine since the 19th century. And no visit would be complete without tasting the nation’s pride: Czech beer. As the world’s top beer consumers, Czechs take their brews seriously and so will you by the end of this tour. Along the way, enjoy a light-hearted introduction to Czech culture, humor, and maybe even a few cheeky local expressions. It’s more than a food tour it’s your chance to laugh, eat, and drink like a true Czech. (Overnight in Prague)

Why not enjoy an operatic experience to remember at the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), or view the works of famous painters such as Rubens and Raphael at the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts). Take in a performance at the Spanish Riding School – one of the oldest riding schools in the world and home to the famous Lipizzaner horses.
