After breakfast today, board the direct high-speed Thalys train for your journey from Paris to Amsterdam. Upon your arrival, check in at your hotel for a two-night stay and spend the rest of the day exploring Amsterdam at your leisure. Hiring a bike is a great way to get around Amsterdam. On your second day in the city, enjoy breakfast and then spend your time seeing all the sights you didn’t get a chance to experience yesterday. Just outside the city, there’s the Zaanse Schaans museum, flower fields and famous flower market. You can picnic in the Vondelpark with its many sculptures (including one by Picasso), shop at Magna Plaza, take a peaceful walk through Amsterdamse Bos (a forest with lakes, meadows, and cafes), or a catch a film at the art deco Pathe Tuschinskitheater in Southern Canal Ring.
