Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Rovaniemi

Arrive in Rovaniemi and transfer to Vaattunki Wilderness Resort, just 12 minutes from Santa Claus Village. Surrounded by forest and the Raudanjoki River, settle into your cozy Panorama Design Hut for the next two nights. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your group and Haman tour leader.

Day 2 Santa Claus, Northern Lights & Snowmobile

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before heading to the famous Santa Claus Village for a magical 3-hour visit. Explore at your own pace—meet Santa, shop for souvenirs, or visit Snowman World. Lunch is at your own expense.

Return to Vaattunki Wilderness Resort for a relaxing afternoon. In the evening, you may opt for a peaceful electric snowmobile experience —a quiet, eco-friendly way to explore the Arctic night.

Day 3 Ice Hotel

After breakfast at Vaattunki Wilderness Resort, depart by coach for Sweden. The scenic journey takes about 5 hours, with a stop along the way to purchase food and drinks (at your own expense).Arrive at the iconic ICEHOTEL in the afternoon and check into your warm Arctic Chalet. Feeling adventurous? You can upgrade to a night in the Ice Room (subject to availability and extra charge).

Enjoy dinner and settle in for a unique Arctic experience.

Day 4 Husky Sledding Adventure

Enjoy breakfast at the ICEHOTEL restaurant. Today, you will join a 4-hour dog sledding tour through the snowy wilderness, complete with a traditional wilderness lunch. Driven by a skilled musher, this is a true Arctic adventure

In the evening, relax and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 Tromsø

After breakfast at the ICEHOTEL, transfer to the train station and board the scenic train to Narvik—a breathtaking 3.5-hour journey crossing from Sweden into Norway. Upon arrival, continue by coach along the stunning Arctic Route to Tromsø. Food and drinks can be purchased along the way.

Arrive in Tromsø by mid-evening and check in. Enjoy a light evening buffet at the hotel.

Day 6 Arctic Cruise & Northern Light Chase

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Tromsø or join optional excursions (pre-booking available). One highlight is the Silent Arctic Cruise, offering stunning coastal views of Ramfjord. In January, the cruise focuses on whale watching, using an electric engine to ensure a peaceful wildlife experience. Lunch is at your own expense.

In the evening, embark on an unforgettable Northern Lights chase, traveling in search of clear skies—even into Finland if needed. Thermal suits are provided for extra warmth. Dinner is served as a light buffet at the hotel.

Day 7 Depart Tromsø
