ARRIVAL YIA
You will meet and be greeted by our guide at Yogyakarta International Airport to be transferred to and check-in the hotel.
BOROBUDUR TOUR – THE CAVE OF MARIA “SENDANGSONO” – MALIOBORO
Morning visit the largest Buddhist temple in the world – the iconic Borobudur Temple. (Guests only at courtyard are not allowed to go up to the temple ) – lunch at local restaurant – next , we will drive to Cave of Maria “Sendangsono” was built since 1974 -. It is called the Lourdes of Indonesia. On our way back to Jogja, we will shop at Beringharjo traditional market and along Malioboro street. These two connected shopping areas offer batik, traditional snacks, Javanese herbs, rattan ornaments and handicrafts, and so much more. Dinner at a local restaurant
CITY TOUR - THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS – SUNSET PARANGTRITIS BEACH
After breakfast, Visit “Kraton”, the magnificent royal palace of the Sultan. We will continue the tour to Taman Sari water castle. Next, we will visit Kotagede to see a hundred-year old tradition still being practiced by local silver craftsmen. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Next visit the Ganjuran “The sacred heart of Jesus “ Church is a Roman Catholic church decorated with a distinct Javanese cultures and also the 10-meters Hindu-styled temples like the Prambanan. In the said temples, there are statues of Mary and Jesus as Javanese royalties and teachers, adorned by exquisite batik motives. Continued see beautiful sunset at Parangtritis beach - dinner at a local restaurant.
