7D6N Taste of Jordan

Upon arrival in Amman International Airport, meet up with the local representative before transfer to your accommodation. After check in, spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

After breakfast, proceed for a morning tour of Amman which includes visit to the Roman Theater, The Citadel, The Archaeology and the Folklore Museums and one of the many art galleries and experience the difference between old and modern Amman.

After breakfast, transfer to the lowest spot on earth and experience floating in the water of the Dead Sea. Then proceed to Pella in the Jordan Valley. Proceed to Um Qais also known as the Gedara of the Bible for it’s spectacular view on the Sea of Galilee , the Yarmouk River and the Golan Heights. Then return to Amman.

After breakfast , go on a late morning tour of the Jerash , the best preserved city of the Roman times and visit its theaters , temple, churches and colonnaded streets. Then proceed to Aljoun and tour the Saracen Castle before returning back to Amman.

While on route to Petra , stop by and visit Madaba for the oldest map of the holy land and its Mosaic School , also Mount Nebo for a wonderful panorama over the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Then drive along Wadi Mujib to Kerak and visit the Crusader Castle before reaching Petra. Upon arrival in Petra , spend the rest of the day at own leisure.

Spend a full day and visit many sites of Petra. Walk through the Siq to reach the Treasury, the Roman Theatre, the Courts, Qasr Bint Pharaoun, Temple of the Winged Lion, and other monuments. Later have an option lunch (at own cost) or you may consider climb up to the Monastery.

After breakfast, visit the Wadi Rum Desert where the film "Lawrence of Arabia " was shot. and enjoy a short ride in a wheel drive across the spectacular lunar – like landscape. Tour in Amman will finish around 6 PM. Then continue to the Araba Crossing or travel back to Amman and leaving Jordan for your next destination.
